Sur le Delavan is a small kennel located outside Delavan, Illinois that offers puppies, started dogs, pointing dog training and game birds.  We are committed to the highest standards set by the UKC.  Sur le Delavan Kennel is also one of the few kennels that have signed and adhere to the breeder's agreement set by the CEB-US as another way to raise the quality of EBs being produced for the home and the field. Our dogs have the finest European lines possible. We test our dogs for the “Sable" gene and only breed dogs that have OFA ratings of "GOOD" or better. All of our dogs are dual registered with the UKC and AKC to help guarantee that they are 100% Epagneul Breton.  All our breeding pairs are exceptional hunters. We also compete our dogs in UKC events as a way to "prove" our dogs' abilities against other EBs. We are very proud members and supporters of the CEB-US. Sur le Delavan Kennel caters to foot hunters and families looking for a pet, but our dogs do great in the show ring also! We love to, and we are very proud to, show these dogs off and invite everyone to come visit our farm to see these dogs in action.

In addition to our French Brittanys, we also raise and offer high quality and hard flying game birds. We focus on Pheasants, Chukar, Mallards, Pigeons and Bobwhite Quail. We have birds for sale all year round and at many different ages throughout the year. Please contact us to find out more about buying training and hunting birds. Please see our training page to learn more about training opportunities that we have to offer here at Sur le Delavan Kennel.  We have 4 different dog training areas approved by the state of Illinois on our farm.
